Your Financial Consultant will ask you specific questions to help you access your priorities. He or she will listen to your concerns for: the care of an aging parent, your retirement, college education, and charitable causes. Your responses will be used as a guide to later develop your successful plan. To often this step is left out by most advisors. Most advisors work for a major insurance company or wire house. The flaw with this model is that the company whom they work for gives incentives to sell their products and the advisor is left to believe that their proprietary products are the answers to all client needs. The truth is these advisors are really sales reps in disguise an no one company has the answers to fit all solutions. At Highland Capital we have no proprietary products. We only have the Simple Process which gets our clients from point A to B. Our consultants do however have access to the best insurance companies and third party strategists, but they are only recommended when necessary for filling a clients individual needs. At Highland Capital your consultant is trained to Lead with Solutions not Products. |
