LUTCF – Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow Overview: The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and The American College jointly confer the LUTCF designation. The LUTCF designation represents accomplishment and professionalism, which helps to establish strong and long lasting client relationships. Since its inception, the LUTCF designation has been awarded to more than 63,000 individuals – including designees who earned it since the College assumed ownership of the designation curriculum from the Life Underwriters Training Council. LUTC was founded in 1947 and is nationally recognized. Its mission is to benefit the public by fostering professional standards, ethics, and education to financial professionals Requirements: All 8- and 12-week LUTC courses, including both classroom and online formats, earn 60 LUTCF designation credits upon successful completion. A total of 300 designation credits are needed to qualify for the LUTCF designation. The completion of an ethics course is also a requirement of all LUTCF designees |
